About us
On Tuesday January 19, 2009, Mattison Grey decided to follow her own advice and make a HUGE fitness goal for 2009. So 365 in 365 was born. It’s simple really: do 365 days of exercise in 365 days. Jonathan Mankse heard about it and asked to join in. Bonnie Crowder and Sarah Shah were also early adopters of the 365 Fitness Game. By the time you read this we may have given up or there could 100’s of participants. Who knows. You are welcome to join us. Please read the “rules” and if you agree to them jump on in. We have all committed to exercise 365 times in 365 days. This blog documents our progress, results and observations.

Wow, have not been up here in a while! I am plugging right along with my fitness every day, need to make up for one day from last week. My daughter is practicing for 400m and 100m for the district track meet this weekend and I have been running with her. Much more fun to have a work out buddy 🙂

Mattison, you’re acknowledging regularly. Where’d you learn that? Thanks!

fitness was an afterthought over the last couple weeks… at least the omg just as I almost got into bed resulted in some last minute fitness…which is more than I would have done before. That counts for me!
It’s back on my attention this week. Hulahooping on monday (31)and 20 min walk (in platform shoes) on the river walk yesterday (32) Will do it again in sneakers today!
Thanks for creating this Mattison…would never done 32 days of movement before.

I am starting back over and am on day 3! I did 3 miles walking on Tuesday with my weekday warriors group that Peggy leads. Then did 30 minutes walking at the gym yesterday. Today I am doing 3 miles of walking/wogging with the weekday warriors again. Such a pretty day too.

Great to read everyone’s updates and learning about what you’re doing to keep it going! You’re doing regular exercise, Rob. Mattison kept it up while being sick. Susan is back on track. Jonathan is digging this. And Sarah keeps it going on the Riverwalk!
I’ve been riding my bike and cross training with walking, elliptical trainer, spinning, weight lifting and an occasional stretch. No posts for awhile so I’ll catch you up. I’m at 36/365 and mileage is at 107 last week / 565 YTD / 5,000 goal. I signed up for RAGBRAI. My friend Margaret is turning 60 this year and that’s what she wants to do – ride across Iowa! Check it out: http://www.ragbrai.com. Sure hope Mattison joins us 🙂
Cheers!
